Attending A Class:
Pet First Aid / Disaster Preparedness classes generally last 5 to 6 hours. This time is full of information and will allow you to get plenty of hands on practical time with the mannequins and live animals including dogs and cats.
The classes promptly begin at the designated time. Please be sure to arrive 30 minutes early to sign in and receive your book and miscellaneous materials for the class. We understand that this is a long day and we will give plenty of breaks so feel free to bring lunch and/or snacks with you. We just ask that you don't feed the animals. : )
There are occasions that class will run over slightly due to additional time needed for hands on training and questions. Please be prepared in the event that this should happen.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, as you will be practicing CPR and other skills on the floor.
In addition to your ASHI Pet First Aid Book, you will receive an ASHI card of completion, Learn Pet First Aid disaster preparedness forms, and additional materials.
How To Sign Up:
To sign up for a class please email us at
info@learnpetfirstaid.com and be sure to let us know which class you are interested in taking and the number of people you would like to sign up. We will reply back to you within a few days to let you know the availability and give you any further information.
How To Pay For The Class:
Once the class has the minimum number of people signed up then we will send out an invoice to you. The invoice will allow you to conveniently pay using Pay Pal. If you do not wish to use Pay Pal please contact us directly to make other arrangements.
